The present invention provides a roller with a shaft seal for preventing an intake of foreign materials including a roller body (110); a shaft (10) formed on the inner center of the body; a sleeve (300) formed on the outer circumference of the shaft; a bearing (500) formed on the outer circumference of the sleeve; a shaft seal (200) joined to a shaft seal contact surface (310) in the lower side of a vertical column unit of the sleeve and including a metallic bending reinforcement material (700); and an annular spring (350) mounted on the outer circumference of an inner column of the shaft seal. The shaft seal is formed into a ring shape with a square C-shaped cross-section and composed of the circular inner column (A), an outer column (B), and a connection unit connecting the inner and outer columns. The metallic bending reinforcement material (700) is inserted inside the shaft seal while one lateral surface of the bending reinforcement material is bent to be uneven. A structure of one lateral surface of the inner column (A) of the shaft seal in contact with the outer circumference of the sleeve is composed of a first protrusion unit (260), a recess unit (270) adjacent to the first protrusion unit (260), and a second protrusion unit (280) adjacent to the other side of the recess unit. The cross sectional shape of the inner column is formed to have two peaks. Vortexes of the first and second protrusion units are in contact with the shaft seal contact surface (310) corresponding to the surface in contact with the shaft seal among the one lateral surface of the sleeve (300). A groove-type spring mounting unit (290), in which the spring is mounted, is formed on the rear surface of a part wherein the first and second protrusion units and the recess unit are formed. |
