Provided in the present invention is a method for preventing, inhibiting, or reducing a P. gingivalis biofilm in an individual, comprises a step of injecting a pharmaceutical composition comprising a polypeptide inhibitor in the individual, wherein the composition reduces or inhibits the formation of a biofilm and/or the generation of a biofilm. In addition, provided is a composition useful for preventing, inhibiting, or treating periodontal diseases or P. gingivalis infections. |
