967,183. Haymaking machines. C. VAN DER LELY N.V. Oct. 10, 1960 [Oct. 13, 1959], No. 20514/63. Divided out of 967, 181. Heading A1F. A haymaking machine comprises a frame 186 adapted to be coupled to the powerlift 196 of a tractor, the frame including a beam 192 inclined to the direction of travel and provided with supports 190 to carry rake-wheels 187 so that the latter are adjustable about vertical axes, the supports being perpendicular to the beam and the rearmost support being formed from a bent portion of the beam, the arrangement being such that when the rake-wheels extend parallel to the beam the machine functions as a side-delivery rake and when they are adjusted so as to extend perpendicular to the beam, the machine is a tedder. The frame includes a returned front part 193 which carries a standard 194 and lugs for the tractor lift-links, a strut 195 extending between this part and the main beam. The rake-wheel axles 188 have vertical portions 189 rotatable in bearings on the supports 190 and each lockable thereto by an apertured arm 189A and sector-plate 189B rigid respectively with the axle and support.
