The present invention relates to: a powder detergent composition characterized in that detergent particles comprising a surfactant and an alkaline agent are coated with a water-insoluble inorganic compound, an organic chelating agent and a binder; and a method for producing the same. The organic chelating agent is preferably at least one type of organic chelating agent selected from a methylglycinediacetic acid and a salt thereof, and the water-insoluble inorganic compound is preferably a zeolite. The present invention is capable of providing: a powder detergent composition which does not tend to generate dust and has excellent liquidity even if the surfactant is of a low concentration; and a method for producing same. |
