Shaped articles contain or are composed of polyolefines into which a polymeric substance incompatible therewith and reactive towards dyestuffs has been introduced, a thermal or light stabilizer having been incorporated into the reactive substance. The olefine polymer may be a stereoregular a -olefine, e.g. isotactic propylene, 4-methylpentene-1 or 3-methylbutene-1, or a propylene-ethylene copolymer. The article may be a filament, fibre or film. The reactive substance may be a polyester, e.g. polyethylene terephthalate, a copolyester, polyamide, e.g. nylon, polyvinyl acetate or polyvinyl chloride. The stabilizer may be a non-migratory anti-oxidant, e.g. dilauryl-thio-di-propionate; 3-methyl-6-tert.-butylphenol condensed with croton-aldehyde; 2-hydroxy-4-octoxybenzophenone or a phosphite or sulphite.
