The present invention relates to a gutter bracket of sheet steel having its edges (30, 31) infolded so that the gutter bracket will be thicker than the thickness of the sheet steel, characterized by a separate steel strip (29), which, along the entire gutter, forms a spacer that is clamped by the infolded edges (30, 31) and comprises at least one projecting tongue (18,19) or a projecting support (35) designed as a holder adapted for cooperation with a bead (41) and/or rear edge of the gutter (40) for fixing the gutter (40) in the gutter bracket. A process for producing the above-described gutter bracket is characterized by first folding the edges (26, 27) of a steel strip (25) towards the centre of the steel strip (25) and then folding the thus formed folded edges (30, 31) about a spacer (29), which is clamped by inwards folded edges (30, 31). |
