According to the present invention, disclosed are an automobile monitoring system and a monitoring method thereof. The automobile monitoring system comprises: a body installed on the side of a road; a sensor unit monitoring whether an automobile stops within a monitoring range; a signal processing unit analyzing illumination or a noise signal of the automobile by using the sensor unit when the automobile stops and notifying a monitoring personnel of a visual or auditory monitoring report thereof.
