摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve performance for bearing a pile body in excavated ground. <P>SOLUTION: A rod, which comprises at least one closing member 3 for blocking a part or the whole of a cavity between blades 2a and 2a constituting a screw 2 and an enlargement excavation member 4 disposed on the leading end side of the excavation rod 1 with respect to the closing member 3 and excavating a diameter-enlarged portion with a diameter larger than an excavation diameter for excavation of ground G by the screw 2, is used as an excavation rod 1. In at least a part of an excavation step using the excavation rod 1 and a step of pulling out the excavation rod 1 from the excavated hole 20, the excavation rod 1 is rotated, and a conveyance action of sediment conveyed to the back end side of the rod by the screw 2 is hindered by the closing member 3 so that the sediment can be partially kneaded and applied to a hole wall 20a of the excavated hole 20.
