<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for base treads, highly excellent in the balance between rolling resistance characteristics and extrusion processability. <P>SOLUTION: The rubber composition for base treads comprises 100 pts.mass of a rubber component containing a modified conjugated dienic polymer produced by reacting the polymerization active terminal of a conjugated dienic polymer with a compound in which the total number of alkoxy groups bound to silyl groups is four or more and which has one or more nitrogen atoms, wherein the conjugated dienic polymer is obtained by polymerizing a conjugated diene compound or copolymerizing a conjugated diene compound with an aromatic vinyl compound, in the presence of an anionic polymerization initiator, and 1-300 pts.mass of a silica-based inorganic filler. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
