A means of application of polymer solution on a cord spinning electrode of a device for the production of nanofibers by electrostatic spinning of a polymer solution in an electrostatic field of high intensity comprising a channel (3) for a cord electrode, which passes through a channel (4) of polymer solution. Mounted in the channel (3) for the cord electrode are at least two mutually perpendicular pairs of guiding elements (1, 2), whereby the gap between the guiding elements (1) or (2) of the corresponding pair is smaller than the smallest dimension of the channel (3) for the cord electrode.
