The present invention relates to an organic light emitting device and a method for manufacturing the same. More particularly, the organic light emitting device according to the present invention includes a substrate; an organic light emitting part where a first electrode, an organic material layer, and a second electrode are sequentially stacked on the substrate; and an encapsulation part which seals the outside of the organic light emitting part. A protective part is formed on at least part of a region of the substrate, where the organic light emitting part and the encapsulation part are not provided, and at least part of a lateral region of the substrate. |
