<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an NC program generation method and an NC program generation device capable of surely preventing tool breakage and degradation of processing accuracy due to processing of a workpiece in a state that a tool exceeds its tool use limit time and appropriately using the tool until the tool use limit time. <P>SOLUTION: An NC program generation method comprises: a step to read processing data in which a tool selection direction selecting a tool used in each processing path and the processing path of the tool are described and tool data in which a tool number of the tool and tool use limit time are described; a step to detect the tool selection direction from the processing data; a step to calculate tool used hours from the processing path of the tool selected by the detected tool selection direction and compare the tool used hours with the tool use limit time; and a step to add a tool replacement direction for replacing the tool with a same tool having another tool number before the processing path in which the tool used hours exceeds the tool use limit time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
