A light irradiation apparatus for curing nail resin 1 includes: a pad-side cover member that faces a pad of a fingertip; a nail-side cover member disposed to cover at least a nail of the fingertip; and a light source configured to irradiate the nail with light. Furthermore, the pad-side cover member has a housing portion formed at least in the vicinity of the fingertip, the housing portion being configured to house part of a nail resin retaining member provided to the fingertip. This makes it possible to provide the light irradiation apparatus for a nail resin with high convenience for a user.
