PURPOSE:To make uniform the optical characteristic and to improve the storing stability by providing a thin film where super fine powder is dispersed in an organic material and a dispersant having high adsorbability against the super fine powder is covering the surface thereof onto a substrate thus forming an optical recording medium. CONSTITUTION:Super fine powder 1 where dispersant 5 is adsorbed to the surface thereof is dispersed into an organic material 2 of matrix to form a thin film 3 thus producing an optical recording medium. In order to improve the heat absorbing rate, a black metal unit, a metallic alloy or a carbon black is employed as the super fine powder 1, while in order to vary the reflactance or the refractive index, GeTe, GaTeSe, etc. is employed. The organic material 2 includes gelatin, polyacryl amid, etc. and the dispersant 5 includes such material as shown by the formula. The optical recording medium produced in such a manner has a uniform optical characteristic over a wide area and an excellent storing stability. |
