The present invention relates to a mobile terminal to perform health care for a user by controlling lighting of devices, connected to the mobile terminal, based on a biometric signal and/or a sleeping pattern, and a control method thereof. According to embodiments of the present invention, the mobile terminal comprises: a control unit detecting hypnagogic/hypnopompic states of a user, when the sleeping pattern is abnormal; and a communication unit forming a communication network with adjacent devices when the hypnagogic/hypnopompic states are detected. The control unit controls output light of adjacent devices through the communication network to correct the abnormal pattern. |
