The invention provides a packaging device capable of reducing the time and cost of a manufacturing procedure of a package bag and inhibiting the decrease of the production efficiency when a to-be-package object is received. The packaging device (1) is provided with a conveying mechanism (110) conveying sheet material; a folding mechanism (130) folding the sheet material taking the bottom of the packaging bag as a base point and in a manner of making a first side part (6C) of the sheet material along a conveying direction along a second side part (6D); a jointing mechanism (150) jointing the sheet material at certain intervals along a cross direction (CD) and forming side faces of the packaging bag; a cutting mechanism (160) cutting the sheet material along the side face of the packaging bag; and a timing adjustment mechanism (170) supplying the packaging bag according request signals from a receiving device. |
