PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to perform appropriate power saving for each user, considering a user's purpose of using an apparatus and an environment situation.SOLUTION: Each of user home control devices 4 receives control propriety setting information showing whether or not a household electrical appliance's operation may be stopped in the case of supply and demand tightness of power of a user for each household electrical appliance, as input; preserves the information; and transmits the information to a server device 2 of a power company. The server device 2 stores the control propriety setting information transmitted from each of the user home control devices 4; then, calculates an estimate of power consumption reduction in a user house HM on the basis of the control propriety setting information, and preserves the estimate; and selects a user's house HM or region to be a transmission destination target of a power consumption reduction request on the basis of the estimate of power consumption reduction in the case of the supply and demand tightness of power, and transmits the request. Each of the user home control devices 4 selectively stops operation of a household electrical appliance on the basis of control propriety setting information stored in the storage unit 44, when receiving the power consumption reduction request. |
