Novelty: a ship equipped with main and additional propeller is disclosed. Constitution: a ship adequately configurated to be propelled by a main propeller with the assistance of the main engine and an additional propeller actuated by its own drive unit. The additional propeller is placed either on the ship΄s bottom or on an elevated section thereof and at a position different to the main propeller΄s position. The produced work of the drive unit of the additional propeller is 25% or lesser than that produced by the drive unit of the main engine; the operational condition can be selected between the regular operational condition in which the propelling force is received by the motion of the main propeller and the other operational condition in which the propelling force is received by the motion of the additional one.
