According to one embodiment, a system of engine exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) is disclosed. The EGR system includes an EGR cooler which cools a recirculated engine exhaust gas and is mounted between a valve cover of a cylinder head inside an engine and a valve train. The present invention provides the system and a method for enabling the exhaust gas to recirculate inside the engine with a compact and efficient method. A short recirculation path of the EGR system enables the engine to more smoothly react, improves fuel efficiency and economic efficiency of the engine, and reduces engine friction. |
