The present invention relates to a novel cyclic compound containing two types of metal, and a pharmaceutical composition comprising the same as an active component for preventing or treating cancers. According to the present invention, hetero-bimetallic metallacycles (HBMCs) suppress apoptosis of T98G (brain tumor), KB (head and neck cancer), and SNU-80 (thyroid cancer) cancer cells, and inhibit activation of the cancer cells, thereby exhibiting remarkable anticancer activity. Therefore, the HBMCs of the present invention can be usefully used for preventing or treating cancers. |
