The present invention relates to a screen control method in an electronic device. The method comprises the following steps of: displaying at least two display areas; displaying an execution screen of an application in any one among the display areas; sensing an input event which displays a user interface; and displaying the user interface corresponding to the input event in any one of the display areas designated based on a designated method. The screen control method of the present invention is not only limited to an embodiment of the present invention, but also can include other embodiments.
