1. A metering unit for a reducing agent, the metering unit comprising:
an injector for supplying the reducing agent to an exhaust gas treatment device, said injector including an electric coil having conductive tracks, a material being used for said conductive tracks having a temperature-dependency of the electrical resistance of at least 0.2% per Kelvin, said electric coil configured to perform at least the following functions: electromagnetic opening of said injector; and ascertaining a temperature by determining an electrical resistance of said coil; and a controller configured for: controlling the electromagnetic opening of said injector via said coil; and deriving a temperature value by determining the electrical resistance of said electric coil.
