The present invention relates to an adjusting mechanism, particularly for thermal trip of electric switchgear fitted with a bimetal (5) attached to strip holder (6) wherein the adjusting mechanism comprises a threaded adjusting element (13) with a head (12) being by its bottom portion with pressure engagement with said strip holder (6) or an auxiliary arm performed thereon wherein a threaded shank (14) of said threaded adjusting element (13) is guided by a thread in at least lower shell (1) of the electric apparatus housing with the aid of opposite walls (15) or projections protruding from the bottom of the electric apparatus lower shell (1) forming thus for said threaded shank (14) a tight groove (16) in which the threaded shank (14) is pressed to create an imprint for the threaded guide thereof, optionally said tight groove (16) can be provided with a nut (17) located therein transversely and without possibility of axial movement. |
