PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform designation work of the processing range of an image in a signature counter.SOLUTION: Before a signature counter is used, image data for adjustment is obtained by a camera 6 after position setting of a pair of pressing members 4a and 4b and illuminance adjustment of an illumination unit 5 are performed. The obtained image data for adjustment is processed by an image processing unit 8 and the position of the image of the pair of pressing members in the image data is detected. Based on position information on the detected pair of pressing members, the range to be cut out of a rectangular image section extending between the pair of pressing members in the image obtained by the camera during operation of the signature counter, that is, the processing range in the image is automatically set.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
