PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication system configured to maintain security, without requiring communication during user authentication.SOLUTION: An authentication system includes: an authentication key generating apparatus 20 which generates an authentication key to be used for user authentication; a mobile terminal 30 for storing the authentication key generated by the authentication key generating apparatus 20; and an authentication device 40 which performs user authentication, on the basis of a result of collating the authentication key stored in the mobile terminal 30. The authentication key generating apparatus 20 generates a first authentication key C1 with a first expiration date, and a second authentication key C2 with a second expiration date which is valid after the first expiration date ends. The authentication device 40 receives the second authentication key C2 from the mobile terminal 30 and stores it when user authentication is performed on the basis of a result of collating the first authentication key C1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
