摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of evaluating a direction of molecular orientation and a degree of molecular orientation of a resin molding, configured to evaluate an overall degree of molecular orientation in a thickness direction of a thick resin molding, in a non-destructive and non-contact manner.SOLUTION: A method of evaluating a direction of molecular orientation and/or a degree of molecular orientation of a resin molding including a part having thickness of 0.02-4 mm, including thermoplastic resin as a resin component includes: measuring infrared absorption of the resin molding, for each of polarized infrared light beams, by transmission infrared spectroscopy, by means of the polarized infrared light beams having different polarization directions; and evaluating a direction of molecular orientation and/or a degree of molecular orientation of a thick part of the resin molding, on the basis of each infrared absorbance corresponding to the polarized infrared light beams in a wavenumber domain of 4500-2000 cmof the infrared absorption.SELECTED DRAWING: None
