PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the degradation of ranging accuracy without influence of use environment.SOLUTION: A time-of-flight (TOF) ranging device 1 calculates a dispersion degree of a computation result of a TOF distance computation unit 7 and determines whether the reliability of the computation result of the TOF distance computation unit 7 is high or low. The TOF ranging device 1 outputs the computation result of the TOF distance computation unit 7 as a device output if determining that the reliability of the computation result of the TOF distance computation unit 7 is relatively high in an environment, for example, in which an intensity of disturbance light is relatively low, and outputs a computation result of an image distance computation unit 9 as a device output if determining that the reliability of the computation result of the TOF distance computation unit 7 is relatively low in an environment, for example, in which the intensity of the disturbance light is relatively high.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
