PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus configured to prevent the amount of residual developer from being falsely detected when a voltage to be induced by an electrode member only by applying a developing bias voltage is induced as an error difference by other various voltages.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a capacitance detection circuit 21 for detecting a first induced voltage to be induced between a developing roller 8 and an electrode member 1; and a controller 50 for correcting the first induced voltage, on the basis of a second induced voltage to be detected by the capacitance detection circuit 21 with a voltage applied by second bias voltage application means that applies a voltage other than a developing bias voltage which is to be applied to the developing roller 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
