PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately measure a force that is received by a falling body from a test object when a force acts between the falling body and the test object.SOLUTION: Light is radiated to a corner cube prism buried inside a sphere falling due to gravity. A light wave interferometer detects the state change of the reflected light from the corner cube prism when the sphere collides with the test object or when the sphere is falling through the test object as fluid. The displacement speed of the sphere is derived on the basis of the state change of the reflected light detected by the light wave interferometer, the acceleration of the sphere is derived on the basis of the derived displacement speed, and the force received by the sphere from the test object is derived on the basis of the derived acceleration.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
