PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to suppress sudden acceleration at a time of starting a vehicle from a parking zone while suppressing the complication of the mechanical framework of an accelerator device.SOLUTION: A drive assist system comprises: an overlap-degree identification unit 16 identifying a degree of overlap of an own vehicle with a parking zone on the basis of a picked-up image picked up by a camera 2 and the parking zone identified by a parking zone identification unit 15 using image processing based on the picked-up image; and a speed limit unit 17 limiting a vehicle speed of the own vehicle to be equal to or lower than a predetermined upper limit if the degree of overlap identified by the overlap-degree identification unit 16 is equal to or larger than a predetermined value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
