PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple wire electric discharge machining device capable of shortening time till an ingot comes close to a wire to start electric discharge machining, and forming an end material part of the ingot to have predetermined thickness.SOLUTION: A multiple wire electric discharge machining device is equipped with an origin detection mechanism which detects an original position of an ingot I to a wire R by electric connection between the ingot I and the wire R. Concerning a Y-axis direction, a cut-off position cutting off the ingot I by the wire R can be clearly adjusted in a thickness direction of the ingot I, and concerning a Z-axis direction, a moving distance till machining can be moved at high speed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
