PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a method of estimating a position and velocity vector of an orbital object, involving extracting a plurality of plots representing a three-dimensional position of the orbital object under observation and performing time-series processing using a Kalman filter or the like, that estimation of orbital elements of the orbital object requires estimation of a plurality of plots and is time consuming.SOLUTION: A radar device estimates a motion hypothesis of an orbital object on the basis of consistency between a received signal corresponding to a plurality of pulse hits used for detecting a position of the orbital object as one plot, and a momentum corresponding to the plurality of pulse hits and computed based on the motion hypothesis of the orbiting object, and then estimates orbital elements of the orbital object, thereby estimating the orbital elements almost simultaneously with the detection of the one plot.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
