PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating element manufacturing method that can continuously manufacture heating elements of generating heat at a uniform temperature, while coating defects are hard to be generated, when coating a coating material containing oxidizable metal particles on a base material sheet.SOLUTION: A heating element manufacturing method includes a coating step of coating a coating material 2 containing oxidizable metal particles on one side of a base material sheet 1. The coating step is performed by using a coating head 14 for coating the coating material 2 to the base material sheet 1 and a disperser 13. The disperser 13 comprises an annular stator fixed to an inner wall of a distribution vessel, and a disc-shaped stirring rotor inserted in the inside of the stator. An interval between an inner circumferential wall surface 3f of the stator 3 and an outer circumferential wall surface of the stirring rotor at the position where the stator and the stirring rotor are opposed to each other is narrower than the interval of the outlet of the coating head 14 and the interval between the tip of the outlet of the coating head 14 and the surface of the base material sheet 1 to coat the coating material thereon.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
