PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothbrush which is excellent in bristle tip entering performance into a periodontal pocket, an interdental space, or the like, can reduce harmfulness to gums, and is excellent in dental plaque removing performance.SOLUTION: A toothbrush comprises a head part 16 having a bristle implanting hole 19 arranged on a side of one surface 16a and a bristle bundle 14 which is implanted in the bristle implanting hole 19, is constituted of a plurality of bristles, and has a conical part 14-3 of a conical shape at a tip end part. The plurality of bristles have a cross section of an elliptical shape for forming a side surface of the conical part 14-3. The cross section is configured such that a length of a major axis of an ellipse becomes shorter toward a vertex of the conical part 14-3 from a peripheral edge of a bottom surface of the conical part 14-3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
