PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ultrasonic diagnostic equipment with improved safety of a puncture operation capable of providing an ultrasonic image desired by an operator in a puncture operation while suppressing heat generation of an ultrasonic probe, and an operation method of the ultrasonic diagnostic equipment.SOLUTION: Ultrasonic diagnostic equipment 10 includes an ultrasonic probe 140, an image generation part 36 for generating an ultrasonic image, a display control part 34 for controlling whether or not to superimposedly display a puncture guide line on the ultrasonic image, a scan control part 24 having a normal heat generation scan mode and a low heat generation scan mode as a mode for scanning an ultrasonic beam, and a control part 38 for acquiring the information on the timing at which the normal heat generation scan mode is switched to the low heat generation scan mode. Based on the information on the timing acquired by the control part 38, the scan control part 24 switches the normal heat generation scan mode to the low heat generation scan mode, and scans the ultrasonic beam.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
