PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underground tank capable of suppressing an area of reinforcement of a base, and a cut-off method for the same.SOLUTION: An underground tank arranged inside a cylindrical continuous underground wall 2 provided in the ground includes a base A, a side wall that is extended upward from an edge of the base A, a body roof that covers an upper part of the side wall, and a cut-off structure 10 that is provided in a boundary part K between the base and the continuous underground wall. The cut-off structure 10 is arranged above an undersurface A2 of the base A and in a position to vertically straddle a freezing line S1 of the boundary part K.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
