PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide power conversion equipment enabling the capacitance of a smoothing capacitor to be downsized.SOLUTION: A power conversion apparatus includes: an insulation-type DC-DC circuit 11 for converting a voltage supplied from a DC power supply 13; an inverter circuit 12 for converting an output voltage of the DC-DC circuit 11 into an AC voltage; and a control part which estimates an input current I2 of the inverter circuit 12 using an output current I1 of the inverter circuit 12 and a percent modulation m of the inverter circuit 12 and controls driving of the DC-DC circuit 11 on the basis of the estimated input current I2. As a result, a change in the output current of the DC-DC circuit 11 can be suppressed and a high-frequency component can be reduced, so that the capacitance of a smoothing capacitor C2 can be downsized.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
