PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable fire power to be adjusted according to a heating method under execution when a user leaves a kitchen.SOLUTION: A terminal 100 has a storage unit for storing control method information representing a control method of fire power of a cooking appliance 200 for each cooking method for heating food, and a controller for determining a first control method associated with a cooking method under execution in the cooking appliance 200 from the control methods represented by the control method information stored in the storage unit and making the cooking appliance 200 execute the first control method when it is detected that a user who uses the cooking appliance 200 has not been in a kitchen for a predetermined time during execution of a cooling method for heating food in the cooking appliance 200.
