PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon nanotube sponge-like structure and a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing a carbon nanotube sponge-like structure, which comprises: a first step of supplying a carbon nanotube raw material; a second step of putting the carbon nanotube raw material into an organic solvent to form a fluff structure by ultrasonic vibration; a third step of washing the fluff structure with water; a fourth step of freezing and drying the fluff structure washed with water in a vacuum environment to obtain a preliminary body of a carbon nanotube sponge-like structure; and a fifth step of depositing carbon on the preliminary body of the carbon nanotube sponge-like structure to obtain a carbon nanotube sponge-like structure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
