PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a comparatively large capacitive touch panel structure integrated with a transparent glass sheet.SOLUTION: When a transparent glass sheet 1 is laminated on a touch panel substrate 2, a spacer is pasted on a surface of the sheet 1 in an overlap area. The sheet 1 and the touch panel substrate are laminated via the spacer. They are sealed and fixed at the edge of the touch panel substrate for preventing airflow, to form a laminate. A low-viscosity epoxy resin is injected under pressure into a gap in the laminate, which is formed between the sheet 1 and the touch panel substrate, and the air in the gap is discharged from the laminate through an outlet 6. The amount of epoxy resin to be injected exceeds a substantial volume of the gap. A surface of the touch panel substrate in the laminate is pressed against the sheet 1. Remaining epoxy resin is discharged through a resin inlet 5 of the laminate, to harden the epoxy resin.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
