PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To delete print data and a preview image to be transmitted in a printing system where an image forming apparatus, a user terminal, and a server device communicate with each other, from the server device at an appropriate timing.SOLUTION: In a printing system, an image forming apparatus 1000, a user terminal 401, and a server device 402 communicate with each other. On receipt of a request from the user terminal to delete a preview image which is not to be converted to print data, the server device deletes the preview image not to be converted to the print data, in response to the request received from the user terminal, from first storage means at an appropriate timing. The server device deletes printed print data, in response to a request received from the image forming apparatus, from second storage means at an appropriate timing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
