PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clothing pest control agent employing a novel pyrethroid clothing pest control component that volatilizes at room temperature, and a method of controlling clothing pests using the agent.SOLUTION: A clothing pest control agent comprises 4-ethynyl-2,3,5,6-tetrafluorobenzyl=2,2,3,3-tetramethylcyclopropane carboxylate as an active ingredient.
