PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration-proof device for a band saw machine capable of inhibiting vibration of a band saw blade even when the blade edge of the band saw is consumed, and to provide a band saw machine therewith.SOLUTION: A vibration-proof device for a band saw machine includes first and second rollers holding from both sides, a band saw blade during cutting of a workpiece. The first roller holds the twisted-up band saw blade from a first side face that is the side which receives reaction force from the back part of the blade, and the diameter of a portion holding the blade edge of the band saw is larger than that of the portion holding the back part of the band saw blade. The second roller holds a second side face that is the side opposite to the first side face of the band saw blade. The band saw machine comprising the vibration-proof device therefor is also provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
