PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-aqueous defoaming agent which is excellent in defoaming performance and also materializes a preferable finish appearance of a coated film.SOLUTION: The defoaming agent is provided which contains a liquid polymer (A) and a fluorine-modified organopolysiloxane (B) including organosiloxane unit (b1) represented by formula (1). It is preferable that, based on weights of the liquid polymer (A) and the fluorine-modified organopolysiloxane (B), the content of the liquid polymer (A) is 60 to 95 wt.% and the content of the fluorine-modified organopolysiloxane (B) is 5 to 40 wt.%.
