摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant, a sliding member and a sliding mechanism in which cost increase can be suppressed, and also, excellent in low friction characteristics and rust prevention characteristics.SOLUTION: Provided is a sliding mechanism 1 comprising: a planar sliding member 2 having a sliding face 20; and a cylindrical mating member 3 having a confronted face 30 slid with the sliding face 20 of the sliding member 2. The sliding member 2 comprises: a base material 4 formed of a metal such as high-tensile brass base alloy; and a lubricant 5 buried in the base material 4. In the surface 40 of the base material 4 composing the sliding face 20 of the sliding member 2, a plurality of insertion holes 41 for arranging a lubricant 5 are formed at the slide contacting positions of the confronted face 30 of the mating member 3 at equal intervals. The lubricant 5 being graphite formed as a porous body, and is impregnated with lubricating oil and an ion liquid. The mating member 3 is formed of a metal such as carbon steel and is fitted rotatably around a shaft center O.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
