PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet storage device in which the size display part of a sheet storage part can be easily made to coincide with the size indication part of a regulation part by a user.SOLUTION: A sheet storage device comprises: a regulation part which is movably provided to a sheet storage part and regulates the position of the end of a sheet stored in the sheet storage part; an engaging member which is provided movably in a sheet loading direction and in a direction along a sheet surface crossing the loading direction and is used for positioning the regulation part at the end position of the sheet stored in the sheet storage part; and a locking part which is provided to the sheet storage part and positions the regulation part by locking the engaging member. The engaging member comprises the indication part indicating the end position of the sheet stored in the sheet storage part. The indication part moves together with the engaging member to protrude outside the regulation part in the position at which the engaging member is locked to the locking part and to be stored inside the regulation part in the position at which the engaging member is not locked to the locking part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
