PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear vehicle body structure of a vehicle which can make compatible the prevention of the generation of traveling noise resulting from the vertical vibration of a floor panel caused by the improvement of rear vehicle body rigidity, and the improvement of productivity by securing a working space.SOLUTION: A rear vehicle body structure of a vehicle comprises: a floor panel 1; rear side frames 2; a rear cross member 3 constituting a closed cross section C1; a reinforcing member 10 which connects middle parts of a pair of the rear side frames 2, and constitutes a closed cross section C2 which protrudes frontward; and a connecting member 20 constituting a closed cross section C3 which makes middle parts of the closed cross section C1 and the closed cross section C2 in a vehicle width direction communicate with each other via an opening part 3d which is formed at a rear wall part 3b of the rear cross member 3. The connecting member 20 has a main body part 21 which extends rearward so as to be orthogonal with the vehicle width direction from the rear wall part 3b of the rear cross member 3, and a joining part 22 joined to a front wall part 11a of the reinforcing member 10 at a rear side of the main body part 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
