PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seam welding device and a seam welding method which efficiently measures a radius of a roller electrode and can perform precise seam welding by considering the radius of the measured roller electrode.SOLUTION: A first position on which a second roller electrode 20 comes into contact with a first roller electrode 10 is measured. A second position on which the second roller electrode 20 comes into contact with a detection plate 54 is measured. By using first position information which exhibits the first position and second position information which exhibits the second position, a radius of the first roller electrode 10 and a radius of the second roller electrode 20 are calculated. Rotation speeds of the first roller electrode 10 and the second roller electrode 20 are calculated in accordance with respective radii and rotation movements of the first roller electrode 10 and the second roller electrode 20 are controlled by the calculated rotation speed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
