PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the use of a large reading apparatus for optical recognition codes, such as color bits.SOLUTION: In a reading apparatus 1 having a schedule board 8 for displaying the schedule table of the company staff or the like, the schedule board 8 is formed of a transparent material, a plurality of display plates 2 displaying information recognizable by persons on the front side and displaying color bits corresponding to the information on the front side on the rear side are stuck to the schedule board 8, and color bits C on the rear sides of the display plates 2 are enabled to be photographed with a camera 15 installed behind the schedule board 8. In the chamber of the reading apparatus 1, a mirror 17 is so installed as to face the rear side of the schedule board 8.
