PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single screw compressor for easily suppressing the rotating speed of reverse rotation right after the stop of a screw rotor while hardly causing damage to a gate rotor.SOLUTION: The compressor includes a casing in which suction and discharge spaces are formed, an adjusting mechanism, a driving mechanism 40, and a controller. The adjusting mechanism moves a sliding valve to adjust the opening of a bypass passage communicating a compression chamber with the suction space. The driving mechanism having a piston 41 connected to the sliding valve and a cylinder 42 storing the piston moves the piston with a pressure difference between an A-chamber Sa and a B-chamber Sb adjacent to the piston to drive the sliding valve. The driving mechanism has communication paths 51, 52 between each chamber and the discharge space, and a communication path 53 including solenoid valves 55a-55c and a communication path 56 including a solenoid valve 56a, each communicating the B-chamber with the suction space. The controller controls the valves 55a-55c to control the capacity during operation, and controls the valve 56a to communicate the B-chamber with the suction space during stop.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
